Somerset Speedway is holding its annual golf day on August 8 at Brean Golf Club.

Somerset Speedway is counting down the days to its annual golf day and the club has been advised that entries remain open for anyone wishing to take part.

Organised by Somerset Speedway enthusiast Andrew March, the competition enters its sixth season on August 8 at Brean Golf Club and teams of four can be entered for a registration fee of £150.

The day takes the format of a Texas scramble and the entry fee includes coffee and bacon rolls on arrival, 18 holes of golf, a buffet lunch back at the Oaktree ahead of the prize presentation and free entry to the speedway meeting versus Wolverhampton in the evening.

Even non-golfers can be part of the occasion through the opportunity to sponsor a hole for just £30. That will entitle the sponsor to have their name and/or corporate logo signage on the tee, inclusion in the event programme and mentions during the speedway meeting later in the day.

Details of how to register a team or offer sponsorship can be provided by Andrew on 07957 972614.
