Elite League champions the Poole Pirates will open the new speedway season at the Oaktree Arena in Highbridge.
THE Cases Somerset Rebels promotion team have arranged what can only be described as a ‘glamour match’ to open their 2015 season.
The Poole Pirates, the 2014 Elite League champions, coming to the Oaktree Arena in a special ‘one-off’ challenge match on March 27.
“We wanted to get the new season under way with a top quality challenge match, and clubs don’t come much bigger than Poole, who won the Elite League Championship last season,” said Rebels promoter Debbie Hancock.
