A weakened Belvedere 2nd XI were soundly beaten at Evercreech.

A WEAKENED Belvedere second team travelled to Evercreech and came away with a resounding loss.

Having won the toss, Belvedere asked the hosts to bat and at 69-3 with Davis (2-62) and Britton (1-75) the wicket takers, the game was evenly poised. However, a mixture of wayward bowling and weak fielding saw Evercreech batsmen Belcher (168 not out) and White (148 not out) put the away side to the sword and amassed a total of 375-3

This total was never in reach, but Sam Neate made a gutsy 61 with other double figures going to Ben Robinson (16), Jennings (15), Etchells (12) and Wigg (10), the visitors falling well short on 166 all out

Eurocams man of the match was Sam Neate.
