WINSCOMBE Football Club are holding another old boys' reunion on Saturday, April 4, with a lunch, followed by watching a first team match being played. If there are ex-players or officials who would like to attend, the event organiser is Darren Draper. Tel 0782 5516620. CHEDDAR FC is holding a players reunion to bring together as many of its ex players as possible on Saturday, February 14.The date has been picked to coincide with the club's first team playing a high profile game in the quarter-final of the Somerset Senior Cup against Westland United. The game kicks off at 2pm and it would be good to see as many old faces there to support the current batch of players as they try to get to the semi-final of the Senior Cup for the first time in their long history. The club is also providing a buffet and hot drinks for all our invited guests in our newly refurbished function room. The room will be available from 1.30pm and food will be available at the finish of the match (around 3.50pm unless it goes to extra time). It would be good to see all old players there and if you intend to come it would be great if you could let Tim know by giving him a quick call on 07733 266754. If you do not advise but turn up anyway it is not a problem, but the more notifications we have the more we can prepare with enough food, etc.If you have any questions please let Tim know, also if you know of any other ex players then please feel free to let them know, we have a number of names on our database but by no means every player. If someone has not had an invite then please get them to come along and tell them that the only reason they have not had an invite is because we had no contact details.
