WESTON Sea Angling Association are holding their annual RNLI open beach competition on November 21.
Chief sponsor is PRV Engineering of Pontypool. All profits will go to the local branch of the RNLI.
Fishing prizes start with �200, �100, �50, but there are many others. More cash will go to winners of optional pools for heaviest flatfish and heaviest round fish.
A grand draw with excellent prizes is also available. Entry fees are adults �10, OAPs �8, juniors �5. Optional pool is �2.
The event will be fished from 4-7.30pm with signing on from the WSMSAA clubhouse at the south end of Marine Parade.
The prize presentation is at the Royal Hotel, which will be attended by Pete Holder, members of the lifeboat crew and Mrs Holder, deputy Mayor of Weston, who will kindly present the top prizes.
