ROBBIE Gallier (11), of Lympsham, in only his eighth month of karting, has taken his sixth consecutive podium. In the debut race for his new factory supported Project One Kart at the Dunkeswell Circuit in Devon, at first it did not all go Robbie's way as found it difficult adjusting to the new kart as he had only had an hour's practice prior to the race. The never give up spirit that Robbie has adopted ever since starting paid dividends, struggling in free practice on the Saturday to find the best set up, it all started to come together for the second and third heats, starting 18th finishing ninth and then 11th to move up to fourth. This qualified Robbie sixth for the final and after a difficult start dropped back to 10th, Robbie pulled it all together and drove a stunning last four laps of the 10-lap final to take a well deserved secnd and only two tenths behind team mate Piers Hickin who took the overall honours. Support continues from Lucas Oil, Demon Tweeks, South West Karting, PIAA, Talon and WSM Fasteners.
