The Somerset Rebels completed a double over the Rye House Rockets with two victories in two days.
THE Cases Somerset Rebels completed a double over the Rye House Rockets with home and away victories.
It was one-way traffic at the Oaktree Arena as the Rebels completed a hat-trick of home victories over the Rockets this season.
Somerset cashed in with full maximums for Brady Kurtz (15) and Olly Allen (12), despite still suffering from two broken ribs sustained in a fall at Sheffield. There were also paid maximums for Pontus Aspgren (11+4) and Paul Starke (10+2).
The win at Rye House came in a closely-contested meeting with just one point separating the teams as they went into the last heat decider.
The Rebels had a one-point lead, but wrapped up victory with skipper Allen and Nick Morris taking maximum points.
Allen top scored for Somerset with 11 points and was well supported by Brady Kurtz (9), while there eight-point returns from Morris and Charles Wright.
