Leading driver Roger Orgee is preparing for the final round of the Castle Combe Formula Ford Championship on Saturday
LANGFORD racing driver Roger Orgee is preparing for the final round of the Castle Combe Formula Ford Championship on Saturday, which he leads by 19 points.
His only rival, last year’s champion Adam Higgins, must win the race with Roger out of the points to overcome the deficit, so Roger’s team, Kevin Mills Racing, have been working overtime to ensure that the Weston College Van Diemen is prepared to their usual high standards to ensure there are no mechanical issues.
Following the final, Roger is entered into the end of season carnival race, which he won last year, but doesn’t mind if he reverses the results on Saturday.
Roger has had an outstanding season, finishing on the podium in every race, and hopes that his success will help him move up to the National Championships next year.
