Weston Colts 29 pts Shrewsbury College 7 ptsThe Colts played host to their Shropshire visitors and won comfortably enough in a game which always threatened to boil over, but never actually did. Weston started the brighter and with plenty of possession from the hard working forwards took the lead when the ball was passed through the hands for Harry Warman to go over for Ben Main to convert. Warman increased the home side's lead with another well-taken try before Shrewsbury rallied with a converted try following excellent work by their right wing who put the outside centre over. The second half started with Tom Main continuing his excellent form with some barnstorming runs which were complimented by the aggression of captain Simon Hudson and Chris Young who again looked a dead cert for first team recognition in the not too distant future. Weston scored three unanswered second-half tries through Burns, Young and Tom Wheatley, one of which was converted by Ben Main. Apart from the Main twins, Young and Hudson, there were good performances by White and Dance, and Warman looked particularly dangerous.
