Archant

On a cold sunny morning, Hornets U12s entertained Weston U12s.

After a cagey start in which Hornets spent the majority of the time in Weston’s half, Hornets finally breached the resolute Weston defence.

From that point on the games became more open, with Hornets maintaining the momentum and managing to score at regularl intervals whilst keeping the Weston attack at bay.

A good all-round squad effort from the 24 young Hornets who showed great variation in attack, scoring tries from deep with slick passing and pace, but also from close range with some powerful surges and darting runs from the breakdown.
