Burnham 13 pts
North Bristol 5 pts
THIS was a much-needed win for Burnham with no quarter asked and none given.
Throughout the game, Burnham were on the front foot and even though they elected to play against a strong wind, for the first 20 minutes they were on the offensive, until, against the run of play, Bristol secured the ball from a penalty line-out and after four phases they manufactured a hole for their scrum-half to dive through.
Five minutes later, Burnham opted for a scrum after a penalty and Danny Spelman muscled his way over, Piper converted to make it 7-5.
Just before half-time, Bristol transgressed allowing Piper the opportunity to add three further points.
For the next 25 minutes, Burnham hammered away at the opposition, barely allowing them out of their own half and their only reward was another penalty for Piper.
On Saturday, Burnham travel to Chew Valley, coach leaves at 11.45am.

THE seconds were well beaten by Somerton, despite creating several early chances.
Two good scoring attempts were both spoiled in the final execution and a couple of penalties were also missed.
Somerton had some strong runners and took the lead in the first-half with two tries.
The restart saw the game continue at the same tempo, both teams creating scoring chances, but it was Somerton who were able to take these chances and add to their scoreline.
