Weston Colts 30 pts Camborne Colts 32 ptsWITH the last kick of a pulsating National Cup match Camborne came from a point behind to snatch victory in an at times exhilarating and at times error-strewn match. To be honest, Weston made too many elementary errors when ahead and although there were several high quality individual performances notably by captain Ross Bennett and replacement Alex Thompson, the whole team contrived to lose a game against gallant opposition by not doing the simple things when in the lead. Hopefully the lads will learn from their mistakes. Weston scored five tries through George Wright, who grabbed a brace, Ollie Martin with a fine individual effort and the outstanding Thompson who crossed twice. Bennett kicked one conversion and a penalty. Weston now go into the Plate competition.
