WESTON Under-15s met Bath in the semi-final of the Somerset Cup and drew 12-12, but Bath go through as the away side.Straight from the kick-off, Weston dominated and Kick scored the first try, but Cullum just missed the conversion. Bath responded well with good handling skills and determination in the back row, but Weston showed good awareness in defence. However, Bath soon equalised. Early in the second half Weston exploited the Bath defence with Hole breaking through from the 22 to score under the posts, allowing Cullum to convert, only for Bath to again equalise. The whistle blew for the end of the match with the score level 12 each, but under the competition rules, Bath went through being the away team. Every player should take the honour as man of the match, but Olly Sheppard had the slight edge for his determination and drive as a back row.
