Archant

Yatton under-15s were left hard done by after a 51-12 loss to North Bristol.

The two sides combined to produce a thrilling contest, with Yatton performing well at rucks.

Joe Galey moved from prop to centre as Josh Moss stepped into the fly-half role and both enjoyed the challenge, while forwards Ben Dooner, Adam Weaver, Fin Skuse, Toby Manson and Jake Damaral impressed.

Scrum-half Ben Clarke put in a big shift, while Bartek Alekinski’s tackling and running was a key factor, and Adam Foley had his best game of the season.

Yatton trailed 27-7 at the break, after North Bristol had scored 17 points in a quick start.

Yatton claimed a fine try in the second half, with surging runs by their forwards, good offloads and rucking for Skuse to dive over the line.

But North Bristol rallied with a couple of soft tries to give the final scoreline a more flattering look against a determined Yatton side.
