Action from Yatton under-15s clash with Minehead

Yatton under-15s produced a superb display to beat Minehead 45-5 on Sunday.

Heavy, wet conditions could not prevent them running in seven tries due to great teamwork, communication and attacking play.

Only three minutes had been played when Bartek Aleksinski ran half the length of the pitch to open the scoring.

Minehead levelled with a try from a lineout catch and drive, but Yatton saw Caleb Clarke race up the wing and offload to Ben Clarke to score.

Cam Fogg’s charge up the wing was also stopped short but his offload put Aleksinski over for his second try.

And a swift pass from Luke Gilbert sent Clarke away form inside his own half just before half time.

Clarke went over again in the second half after linking up with Gilbert, with several players in support, and Josh Moss sprinted into the corner for the final try.

Jake Damaral and Moss shone in defence for Yatton, as Tom Ballard kicked five of the seven conversions.
