At 60 minutes Thornbury were able to let loose as Yatton lost their shape, moves became too predictable and Redrum finished off and converted his try.Minutes later from an attempted clearance by Yatton, Thornbury clicked into gear, this time from their own 22 and good hands resulted in Tony Down crossing over. Redrum's conversion put the home side in command by 20-7.Yatton momentarily regrouped with a series of driving rucks and mauls, releasing Phil Morgan to touch down in the corner. But Thornbury were in Yatton's 22 at the final whistle and looking the stronger.
