Russell Burgess has won the latest South West Pool tour event held in Street.
RUSSELL Burgess won the second South West Pool tour event held at Break N Dish in Street, Somerset.
Burgess stormed into a 3-0 lead against second-time finalist Mike King (Devon), running out a 4-1 winner
With the double elimination tour allowing losers in the earlier rounds to come back in to compete for the first prize of £500, players were eager to put right earlier mistakes. One player to do that was Jamie Ross, who made it to the semi-finals just losing out to Devon’s King, the tours first winner last month.
Round three of the six series will be held on January 11 at the brand new Allstars Sports Bar in Taunton. Thanks go to main sponsors Drive Vauxhall Weston.
