THE final race of the season at Dunkeswell kart race circuit saw Ryan Nutland pull off another victory by again receiving the First Novice Trophy.

Ryan, a Year 7 student at Priory Community School, was under pressure having lost out to heavy rain and an incorrect tyre choice in the second heat. He battled back to stay ahead of other novices in the third heat and with dry conditions on track, romped home well ahead in the final race.

His dad Roy was over the moon saying at last we have the correct engine and chassis set up. Things could not have been better on the day and some interested sponsors arrived out of the blue on Sunday and Ryan showed he can deliver.

It was a fantastic end to this year and they are hopeful with the support of sponsors into next year they can deliver. If Ryan can get in the top three South West Championships he can then move into Super One Series.
