Sarah Burnell has been named Somerset Golf Partnership’s new academy director.
SARAH Burnell has been named as the new academy director of the Somerset Golf Partnership.
Sarah, who is coach at the Platinum Golf Academy at Bleadon Hill Golf Course, said: “Being able to put something back into my home county is a great privilege and I am very much looking forward to helping coaches develop the stars of the future.”
Sarah has already been busy approaching courses in the area setting up academies and building her team of coaches. One of them, Scott Thompson, comes from The Platinum Golf Academy. He selected to help develop the pupils’ short game and putting skills.
Sarah has also been busy running YMG courses for children of all ages at The Platinum Golf Academy. The successful pupils have just received their YMG cadet badges and certificates.
