KINGFISHERS, were looking forward to this match after a five week break.

It was a scrappy start with little cohesion as Kings struggled to come together and find their rhythm. However, with some excellent interceptions from Caroline and Kelly in defence, Kings managed to develop a lead.

A newly-promoted Panther team did not quite have the experience to defend against Kings’ attack once they found their form and they quickly pulled away.

Despite being on the back foot, Panthers GS was unstoppable and they maintained pressure throughout the game. The match was dominated with silly mistakes and although the scoreline of 57-28 looked convincing, Kings have some hard training to do.
