WESTON-SUPER-MARE will finally play their FA Trophy First Round match tonight (Wednesday) at the fourth time of asking.
The Seagulls’ clash with Wealdstone was postponed on December 12, 15 and 22 due to incessant wet weather, causing a waterlogged pitch at the Woodspring Stadium.
The game pits the two Vanarama National League South sides head-to-head and the winner will be rewarded with a trip to Grimsby Town on January 16 in the Second Round.
Weston beat Hitchin Town 4-0 in the third qualifying round on November 28, which was the last time they played at home.
Ryan Northmore’s side have been busy in the January transfer window so far. The club announced the extension of loan deals for Jason Pope and Alex Byrne from Exeter City, while striker Bradley Ash has signed for SkyBet League One club Barnsley.
