WESTON-SUPER-MARE will play their first game since Boxing Day when they make the long trip to Chelmsford City tomorrow (Saturday).

The Seagulls’ last outing was the 1-1 league draw at Hayes and Yeading a fortnight ago, after their FA Trophy clash with Wealdstone was postponed for a fourth time on Tuesday.

Manager Ryan Northmore has overseen a few changes to the squad in the last week, with striker Bradley Ash snapped up by Barnsley and Exeter duo Jason Pope and Alex Byrne secured on loan. They take on out-of-sorts Chelmsford at the Melbourne Stadium. The Clarets are without a win in their last five and sit just above Weston in the Vanarama National League South, in 15th. Weston are hovering above the drop zone in 19th, but have not tasted defeat since the 1-0 loss at Gosport on November 14.

The game could be one of four games in seven days for Weston. Their FA Trophy match has been reschelduled for Monday night and could be replayed on Wednesday - ahead of another match next Saturday.
