By Friday tea-time, a carpet of snow six inches deep had fallen on the Woodspring Stadium surface and the club officials had no alternative but to call the game off. No new date has been agreed for the fixture to go ahead.
On Sunday, Boxing Day, Weston are due to travel to Dorchester Town (3pm kick-off) and on Tuesday next, December 28 (also at 3pm) are due to host Eastleigh. On New Year’s Day, Weston are due to entertain Dorchester Town (3pm) all in the Blue Square South.
