AFTER a promising start to the season which yielded six victories from their first 10 matches, Weston then proceeded to lose their next four and they now find themselves in 10th position at the halfway stage in National 3 South West.

They have three different encounters in January, starting on Saturday (next week) with second-placed Bracknell at home, then away at Brixham.

They finish the month with a home match against Chippenham and travel to the division’s leaders Lydney.

Fly-half James Mackay is the Seasiders’ current leading points scorer with 128 and the try scoring list is headed by wing Harry Jones, centre Sam Smee and hooker Craig Withers who have five each.

In the appearance list, Smee and prop David Price have played in all 14 matches, closely followed by skipper David Swann and lock Dave Bufton (13). Jones, Sylvan Edwards and Paul Morrissey are next with 12 each.
