Burnham and Highbridge Karate Club member Josh Proctor recently returned with a runners-up spot in a competition in Bristol.
JOSH Proctor, a 4th Kyu purple belt of Burnham and Highbridge Karate Club travelled to Yate, Bristol, for a Wado competition recently and came away with second place in fighting.
He was in a large category of talented fighters, aged 8-9 years, and fought brilliantly as he progressed admirably through the various rounds.
Unfortunately, he met a top class fighter in the finals. Josh did really well but just got beaten to the points.
The Burnham & Highbridge Karate Club train at the King Alfred Sports Centre on Sundays and Wednesdays and always welcome new members.
