Man of the match went to Matt Burland for a great defensive performance.
Worle Rangers 2
Locking Park 4
A CLOSE encounter at Drove Road drew to a close with Locking Park taking the points.
Worle Rangers went in front with a tidy finish, but Locking quickly replied with Craig Baird converting a penalty. The remainder of the half saw Rob Long and Russell Carter making robust challenges to ensure the Locking defences were not breached, helped out by Jason Cain, Daniel Windsor and Paul Adams.
Worle went ahead with a fine finish, but two set pieces were their downfall as two quality crosses from Ryan Harris were unluckily headed into his own net by a defender.
The final nail in the coffin arrived from Aidan Dancer, his goal allowed Locking Park to take all three points from this tightly contested game.
