Weston Shotokan Karate Club held their grading session recently.
JKA Weston Shotokan Karate Club attended their regional training session and kyu grade examination recently.
The event was held at St Dunstan’s Community School in Glastonbury, with clubs from Bristol, Chilcompton, Norton Radstock and Taunton attending. The instructor and examiner for this meeting was Sensei Roy Thomlin 5th Dan JKA, who kindly travelled down from London.
The proceedings started with the early black and brown session and Sensei Thomlin impressed everyone with his knowledge of the art. The kyu grade students training session followed and after a short break the examination started.
