Weston Wheelers took part in a Rob special route around the district.
THE bad weather held off for Weston Wheelers as they took on the Rob special route.
This was a classic Wheeler’s ride, perfect for a windy November morning. From Priory School the route went out through Ebdon to Wick St Lawrence, onto the A370 and towards Christon and Loxton via Banwell Caves.
The riders went to Brent Knoll up and over a short sharp climb and onto Berrow, with a final sprint through Brean and back to Weston.
This week’s ride totalled 38 miles, climbing 1,000ft and averaged 15.6mph. Thanks go to Greg, Paul, Duncan, Rich, Pete, Andrew and Jason.
