ST ANDREW'S played their last game in the newly-formed Weston Indoor Mixed League against Woodspring and finished convincing winners by 53 shots and undefeated throughout the competition.
ST ANDREW'S played their last game in the newly-formed Weston Indoor Mixed League against Woodspring and finished convincing winners by 53 shots and undefeated throughout the competition.The competition was instigated by Mr P T Brooks, who donated the P T Brooks Trophy and a nice shield.At home, Doreen Henderson's rink had a fairly tight game, but managed a six-shot victory, while Don Bailey's rink were dominant in a 26-shot victory.Away, Margaret Wootton's rink had a six-shot victory and Phil Villis' rink compounded the win with a 15-shot victory. Not only did St Andrew's win every game in the new league, but only lost two rinks throughout the competition.
