St Anne’s Primary School, Hewish, have qualified for the county finals of the sports hall championships to be held at Bristol UWE.
St Anne’s Primary School, Hewish, took part in a level two school games sports hall athletics event at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre.
Field and track events have been adapted to take place inside a sports hall. This event is a lot of fun and the children really enjoyed taking part.
The children ran different distance races, jumped, threw balls and javelins and the children worked hard at each event to finish fourth out of the 22 North Somerset schools that took part and were the highest placed small school.
By finishing fourth, the school has qualified to represent North Somerset at the level three county finals being held at Bristol UWE University.
