Steve Smart won the third South West Pool Tour event, the third different winner of the series.
THE South West Pool Tour 3, held at the brand-new Allstars in Taunton, saw another winner from the field of 64.
Trowbridge’s Steve Smart was the victor on this occasion, squeezing into the top 16, for the first time. With three different winners from three events so far, the tour is bringing out the best in many players.
Smart beat Yeovil’s Shaun Sartin 5-2 in the final. He almost slipped up in the second round to Paul Penhale (5-4), but he went on to complete the day, scooping up the £500 first prize.
