As usual, Simon Green ensured that the Strollers started their reply positively by scoring a fluent 58 to put his side up with the required rate, but it was not until the penultimate ball that victory was achieved for the loss of five wickets.

Sidney Morris scored 53 and Ian Harris 32 in their total of 154-7. Sam Frost followed up his 2-39 with 58, but with Sam Blackmore taking 2-31 and Alfie Lavender claiming four victims at a cost of just five runs, the target proved just too much.
