OLDMIXON and Uphill Karate Club members Sarah Clark, James Govind-Somers and Sam Difford recently took part in a black belt grading in Bristol under a panel of seven senior Dan grades of the Western Karate Union.
OLDMIXON and Uphill Karate Club members Sarah Clark, James Govind-Somers and Sam Difford recently took part in a black belt grading in Bristol under a panel of seven senior Dan grades of the Western Karate Union.
All three passed the test with Sarah gaining her third Dan, whilst Sam and James passed their first Dan.
Sarah also had another success when she took part in the British Championships in Edinburgh at the beginning of September, winning a bronze medal in the -55k ladies kumite category.
Club Instructors Wendy and Gary would like to offer their congratulations to all three members on their hard work and subsequent successes.
