CLEVEDON Golf Club hosted players from far and wide to play in the invitational event and fine, warm weather and a course in excellent condition ensured good scoring.
Club secretary Jim Cunning and his guest Mike Wake from Celtic Manor headed the leader board with 41 points, winning by the narrowest of margins on count back from Willy Rowlinson and Paul Weare (Shirehampton) with teenager Ben Chapman and David Bentley (Tall Pines) in third place.
