Former Clarence club captain and current Visually Impaired Bowls England team manager, David Stott, returned home to Weston having been in Israel for 10 days with the VIBE team competing in an international series at Ramat Gan and Raanana bowls clubs near Tel Aviv.
The team had a successful tournament, culminating in two gold medals and two silvers, finishing runners-up in the test series to hosts Israel and beating current world champions, South Africa, into third place. The Scottish select team brought up the rear in fourth place.
