Successful week for Weston

Weston Croquet Club enjoyed a successful week, with all three teams being successful.

WESTON croquet team have just finished a successful week with all three teams winning their respective matches.

The Association Central League team were forced to field a weakened side, but still managed to prove too good for Bath with a 6-2 victory.

The golf croquet section proved equally successful with the Central League team overcoming Bath 11.5-8.5 and the South East League team overcame local rivals Nailsea 16.5-3.5 to complete a good week’s croquet for the club.

The club would welcome new members to join, whether you wish to play competitively or enjoy a social game. The lawns are situated in a pleasant setting in Bleadon, opposite the village shop/post office.
