Weston Karate Club hold their summer grading event.

WESTON Karate Club, based at Hutton Moor, recently held their summer grading.

Established in 1985, the club has continued to train throughout the last 26 years. With ages ranging from seven to 15 years old, all students were successful in passing. A couple that stood out this time was Jack Rickwood and Lewis Loizou, seen centre in the photo.

Chief instructor Kevin said: “Karate is an individual activity for all, which can be fun. The grading tests many personal skills under pressure, some being co-ordination, concentration, memory and self-control amongst others.”
