Parents wishing to get their children playing tennis during the long break can book their children in for one to 14 days of coaching. See website for details: www.avenuetennis.com
A new adult membership deal of half price membership, together with six group tennis lessons is on offer for the rest of the summer. Anyone wishing to take advantage can ring the club on 01278 782758.
The club will host the junior and adult competitions from August 18-24. The junior tournament is one of the county’s largest competitions, with over 250 playing in a variety of age group competitions throughout the week.
The matches normally start early morning and continue throughout the day until early evening. Spectators are welcome and hot and cold food is available throughout the day and the club’s bar will be open.
