The Weston Sunday League cup final is to be refereed by Weston-born Premiership assistant referee Ron Ganfield.
THE Weston Sunday League cup final will take place this Sunday at Woodspring Park, home of Weston Football Club.
The final will be contested between Trysports and Weston Spartans, kick-off is 11am. The game will be refereed by Weston-born Premiership assistant referee Ron Ganfield, who has agreed to officiate what could be the last game in the Sunday League after a 38 year association.
The last few seasons has seen teams gradually pull out due to many reasons Chairman Ken Warner has expressed his concerns with the drop in interest. Everyone is welcome to come and support the game, entrance is free.
