Weston Swimming Club offers swimmers from the age of nine the chance to compete in swimming and water polo events, both locally and nationally. The club has a good reputation and finished second in the 2010 Southern Junior League competition for nine to 12-year-olds.
The squad is at the heart of the club and they offer a fun, safe and challenging environment for children to develop their swimming and polo skills, whilst boosting their confidence, stamina and fitness.
The club is always keen to strengthen their squad and would welcome new members. They are currently looking for male and female swimmers aged nine and under who have achieved, or are currently working towards, Stage 7 of the NPTS
Head swimming coach, Rachel Aldington, runs an hour-long talent session on Sundays at Hutton Moor, for swimmers to attend with no commitment, as an introduction to new aquatic disciplines.
For more information, ask an Aqua Zone instructor at Hutton Moor or email headcoach@weston-super-mare- swimming-club.co.uk
