Showjumper Tara Byrtt helped Great Britain to victory in the Children’s Nationals Cup held in Belgium.
A YOUNG showjumper from Weston was a member of the Great Britain team which won the Children’s Nations Cup in Bonheiden in Belgium.
Tara Brytt, aged 13, from Weston took the role of pathfinder for the team with Valerie B, a 12-year-old bay mare owned by Tamsin Conyers.
Jumping clear in the first round within the time allowed, she was ecstatic to do the same in the second round, resulting in a double clear in this, her first outing on a Nations Cup team.
Strong performances from the four-strong team saw Great Britain ride to an impressive victory.
