AVENUE Tennis Club coaches, Vinny Duddy and Craig Phillips, visited St Andrews Junior School, Burnham, with a view to teaching the teachers some fun tennis games that can be played indoors.
Duddy said the teachers were fantastic and showed some real interest in the games that were played. The games were played over three days with nine classes, of over 280 children, all playing for their indiviudal houses leading to White House winning. The club has arranged visits to almost all the schools in the Burnham area with some of the schools also coming along to the club for a morning of tennis.
The club coaches provide group and individual coaching every night of the week after school and on Saturday’s for all ages and abilities with adult classes on Friday evening or Saturday afternoons. Details can be found on the club’s website - www.avenuetennis.com
