The Weston Bay Plate team race from Weston to Barry takes place on October 17.
THE Weston Bay Plate team race is due to take place on October 17.
The race is open is a challenge to all yacht clubs in the Bristol Channel, which is essentially a channel dash from Weston to Barry, starting at 10am.
Each club can enter up to four boats and there will be an evening presentation hosted by the club at Barry.

Club Commodore Bob Godbold is stepping down at the end of the year.
He has driven through the refurbishment of the club and the opening up to all water users within the bay.
