A GROUP of cheerleaders came home from Blackpool with a handful of awards.
Weston Supernovas and Weston Flames attended the British Cheerleading Association Northern Classics competition this month.
It was only their second competition and the members had guidance from head coach Lois Miller and assistant coaches Abi Milsom and Jo Temlett.
Weston Supernovas won first place in the senior co-ed group stunt class and fourth for senior all girl cheer and in the senior large pom dance section.
Weston Flames came fourth for its youth cheer, fifth for the pom-pom dance and Emily Henderson and Megan Pressling came first in their non-tumbling duo class.
