SHIPHAM made it three wins out of three in Division 3 with a fantastic comeback against Portishead.

Shipham lost a bit of focus and concentration and conceded a couple of poor goals from close range which gave Portishead a 3-1 half-time lead.
After the break, the game went from end to end with Newson missing a glorious chance and an incredible goalmouth scramble being cleared by Portishead, frustrating Shipham further.

Shipham got their breakthrough when sub Sam Nicholas played the ball across the box for Newson to score his second of the game. The visitors equalised when Ben Hollow was set up by Liam Page.
Disaster struck with six minutes to go when Jon Rowsell gave away a penalty, getting badly injured in the process and had to come off. But keeper Stone saved his fifth consecutive penalty to keep Shipham in the game.
Shipham scored a fourth goal when MacLucas played the ball on and a determined Page got to the ball ahead of the onrushing keeper and coolly netted with three minutes to go.
Shipham held out to get the three points to cap a fantastic comeback. Man of the match went to George Stone for another fine penalty save and all round good performance. He also picked up the October player of the month.

WRINGTON Redhill Reserves extended their unbeaten start to the season to eight games in a scrappy cup match, but not without receiving a scare from fourth division side North Worle.
Wrington made a good start as Buck broke up play in midfield and set Rouvrais free to score inside three minutes, but soon after Worle equalised, before Wrington took the lead again through Joe Moore.
Moore turned provider five minutes later, with a delightful chip for Buck to lob the on-rushing keeper, putting Wrington in control at the break.
After the break, Worle hit back and were soon level, but again Wrington responded, with Buck set up Moore for his second goal.
Worle were still not finished as Wrington failed to deal with another long ball, allowing the home side to equalise again.
Wrington finally put the game safe as Rouvrais headed powerfully home from a Buck corner and man of the match Faulkner netted his first of the season.
