Judoka Toby Attwood picked up another bronze medal, this time at St Helens in Lancashire.
TOBY Attwood followed up his success in the Midlands judo competition by winning another bronze medal in the North West national ranking event in St Helens.
Toby won his way through to the semi-final where he was narrowly beaten by the British number one. This left him in the bonze medal fight where he came up against a Russian competitor. Toby controlled the fight from start to finish and won the fight with a huge throw.
This result catapults Toby into the top four of the GB rankings and third on the European selection list.
Toby’s next competition is in April which is the Sportif International held in Edinburgh, followed by a trip to Belfast for the Irish Open later that month.
