Tom Thick came out on top in one of the latest matches on the main lake at Shiplate Farm.

Fishing from peg 14, he landed 136lb 11oz to win by a comfortable margin from Dave Wride (53.4) on peg two.

Tom Light took third place from peg five with 49.11.

Silvers went to Nigel Wickham (peg 12, 21.15), Antony Thick (peg six, 22.8) and Merv Clark (peg 14b, 13.15).

An open match on the main lake was fished by a total of 19 anglers in very still, hot conditions.

The carp were moody and evasive, but Nigel Wickham bagged up 150lb 10oz from peg one to win in style.

Mark Jones (82.12) was second on peg 14b, with John Hawkins (75.4) third on peg 11.

Silvers went to Ron Stark (21.14) on peg 12a, Glynn Wickham (21.4) on peg three and Ray Wickham (19.10) on peg 12.
