Alex Forrest and Greg Traviss, who both study Shin Tai at Combat Gym in Weston, gained their black belt qualification.
Their certificates were presented after a gruelling six-hour grading in which they had to show off their determination, skill and knowledge of the craft in front of peers.
Both 14-year-olds have been training under chief instructor Kevin Ludick since they were 10 and are the first junior students from the gym to achieve the award.
