BILLED as a title decider, Weston made a massive step towards the Football Conference Youth Alliance Premier Division title.

The games only goal came on 65 minutes when Liam Dempsey clipped the ball over the top and strike partner Robbie Maggs waited for the goalkeeper to commit before calmly placing in to the corner.

The visitors’ man of the match Daniel Jackson preserved the lead late on when Jorey Cureton was harshly adjudged to have handled, but a well-struck penalty saw Jackson get across well and put it around the post.
