Team Mendip Ladies enjoyed a drawn game against Welsh touring side Troedyrhiw.
TEAM Mendip Ladies hosted a friendly match for a Welsh team on tour at Worle Rec.
Troedyrhiw had won the league and cup back in Wales without losing a game at Under-16 level and were now touring to gain experience ready to start the new season as a ladies’ team.
Mendip put together a team of 16-year-olds with a sprinkle of older players to help the Welsh team get to grips with the adult game.
The spirit of the game was excellent with Mendip embracing the fact the Welsh were playing to learn and develop.
